Race to Dislodge Suez Blockage as Shipping Rates Surge, Tankers Diverted Away

Shipping rates for oil product tankers have nearly doubled after the 400 metre (430 yard) long Ever Given, almost as long as the Empire State Building is high, ran aground in the canal on Tuesday.
