States Close FY21 with Borrowing 3% Less Than Notified Rs 8.24 Lakh Crore

The states had indicated to the RBI that they would borrow Rs 8.24 lakh crore this fiscal to meet the massive revenue gap due to the lockdowns imposed due to COVID-19.
