Indian-American Democratic lawmakers Pramila Jayapal and Ro Khanna have met US President Joe Biden along with their other Congressional colleagues on the progressive agenda amidst attempts to pass the Build Back Better plan, which would include changes to the social safety net and major investments in climate and education. According to the White House, the Build Back Better Agenda is an ambitious plan to create jobs, cut taxes and lower costs for working families all paid for by making the tax code fairer and making the wealthiest and large corporations pay their fair share.
